People stop in their tracks to gaze at her lovingly. Children shout out in pleasure when they see her. Cars slide to a stop, not heeding the honking coming from behind. She is a crowd puller- the little ball of mischief. She twirls, she dances, and swishes dried leaves around the trunk before throwing them almost softly at her caretaker. She rocks back and forth while her squinty brown eyes travel towards the men and women who stand around her in awe.
