An Epicurean haven: An oyster and champagne cove

Nothing says opulence like oysters and champagne. Could anything better symbolise the good life? Well MLH has got it right once again and introduced the best oysters to marry with the perfect champagne from 24 to 30 September at the much-loved Seafood Cove.

Why is it a must have? Because like sparkling wine, oysters take on the flavour of their home. Eating a fresh oyster is like eating the essence of the ocean, which is why MLH has perfected the best marriage and the a la carte spread is for dinner only.

The spread includes freshly shuck oysters, natural – fresh lime and citrus vinaigrette, natural – vodka and Tabasco, natural – wasabi, pickled green apple and cucumber broth, natural – crab salad, caviar and ponzu, natural – crushed grape and champagne dressing, natural – essence of king coconut, Malibu and white chocolate, Oyster Kilpatrick, fresh oyster topped with crispy bacon, Tabasco and smoky Worcestershire sauce, oyster saganaki, fresh oyster with spicy tomato, melted goat cheese and lime, angel hair oyster, fresh oyster wrapped with kataifi pastry and golden fried with wasabi mayonnaise, traditional oyster mornay, fresh oyster topped with brandy, herb cream and baked tempura oyster, fresh oyster tempura with chili aioli, Japanese steam oyster and fresh oyster steamed with soy, ginger, shallots and ponzu.
