Fonterra’s flagship brand ANCHOR kick started the ‘Anchor Achievers Challenge’ on 15 October at the Sri Rahula grounds in Katugasthota with over 27,000 attending. The challenge explores various aspects of children’s mental and physical abilities, with the aim of inspiring children to be the best they can be and celebrate the “achiever” in each and every child. Activities at the events include novel and interesting challenges for kids of different age groups to participate.

Educational seminars for parents around the importance of proper nutrition are also conducted by leading nutritionists. The Anchor Achievers Challenge aspires to encourage children to challenge themselves, build confidence and inculcate an “I know I can!” attitude in a fun and interesting environment. Children and their parents can look forward to many more exciting Anchor Achievers Challenges which will take place across the island over the next six months. The next Achievers Challenge is scheduled to be held in Galle, on 5 November, to coincide with Anchor’s 125th birthday celebration.
