AXE, the premium brand of men’s deodorant sprays, threw the biggest blast of the year on 23 August at The Kingsbury to celebrate the launch of a refreshing new fragrance – AXE Blast. Hundreds of AXE fans grooved to the beats of some of Sri Lanka’s top DJs Dhanushka, Jay Vibes, KC Grey, Wendell and Yazz all through the night. With dedicated VIP lounges, backstage access and complimentary refreshments, the 100 highest scorers of the AXE Blast Selfie promo partied like royalty. Energy levels reached greater highs when the event’s headliner, ‘High on Heels’ – the UK’s sensational all female collective – took to the stage at around midnight. Having performed across the globe, the charming ladies wooed Colombo with their original tracks including ‘Simply The Best,’ ‘Ordinary Day’ and ‘Let Me Love You’. Partying till the sun came up, AXE fans were seen having the time of their lives.
