Barista introduces a taste of Venice

Sri Lanka’s premier coffee house chain Barista Lavazza, launched its exciting summer menu – ‘Vibrante Venezia’ across all its locations in and around Colombo recently. Drawing inspiration from Italy’s the famous canal-city Venice, the new menu introduces a refreshing selection of chilled frappes, lemonades, mojitos and brews to beat the summer heat, as well as mouth-watering snacks.

The new menu takes features no less than 10 new beverages and six exciting snacks and meal options, in addition to Barista’s favourites. Customers can now taste a bit from a smorgasbord of flavours from the smoked chicken ciabatta or grilled chicken focaccia, tuna on brown bread or cheese and tomato on spicy herbed bread for a truly healthy snack, as well as chicken tikka on brown bread and pepper chicken on spicy herbed bread for a spicy treat!

Coffee lovers who want to beat the summer heat can sample from delightfully fruity frappes including mango cardamom, strawberry, coffee and mocha, while lemonade brews in flavours of kiwi, mango and mango cardamom are sure to refresh while out shopping or working.

The adventurous can sample signature mojitos: mango, water melon and kiwi – virgin, of course, and Barista has not forgotten tea lovers with its fabulous new mango cardamom iced tea.

As always, die-hard Barista Lavazza fans can still enjoy their favourite coffee – made to order, of course, as well as all-time favourite snacks and meals.
