Barista-Lavazza introduces new breakfast menu

Barista-Lavazza introduced an all new breakfast range recently, adding a wholesome range of options to their existing menu. The new range includes the famous ‘Eggs Benedict’, with a perfectly poached egg served on an English muffin, topped with silky smooth hollandaise sauce and fresh baked bagels filled with a delicious combination of chicken ham, cheese and egg, both accompanied with a generous serving of baked beans and sausages, in addition to the regular continental breakfast as well.

Rounding off the menu offerings are the signature Barista Waffles, light and fluffy, served sweet or savoury to suite your preference and the mouthwatering Meatball Sandwich. All of the above are paired with the all new Barista Breakfast Brew for the prefect start to your day.

In addition, the Barista Double Delight, a favourite amongst busy customers as the ideal breakfast on the go, stays on the menu along with an upgraded version called the Barista Triple Delight which now includes an Esperano.

Speaking on the new menu, Barista Coffee Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., operations Manager Shalinda Hewapathirana said: “Since Barista-Lavazza first came into the Sri Lankan market way back in 2002, we felt that the majority of our customers only recognised us as a place for coffee, so we wanted to change this image and show people that we are more than just a cafe; with great food and an atmosphere that compliments a quiet meal with some great coffee.”

“Hence, we have introduced a range of lasagne and pasta some time back, as well as sandwiches with a variety of breads and after looking back at the past couple of years, we find it has done quite well. So people already see us as that now and this is a way of adding value for our customers,” Hewapathirana added.
