Aprons. That was what people were wearing. Not just aprons of course, but when was the last time you saw crowds giggling into a building wearing an apron on top of your usual clothes? If you were anywhere near Warehouse Project on Thursday this would have been a common scene after about 8 p.m.
Aprons, and enthusiastic drama people, impromptu games and a lot of laughs – that was the start of ‘Act Before You Think’ Season 2. A Mind Adventures production, ‘Act Before You Think’ delivered what they promised – the funnies, the theatrics and winners.
With the competition being between ‘Ahindas’ and ‘KG’ (yes, the hysterics starts with the names itself) Thursday proved to be a good day for the Ahindas. It took seven games, three judges and the audience to mark their victory.
The games were titled as follows – inner dialogues (two players on a blind date), lyric speak (group activity – sinking ship, bank robbery), strange bed fellows (famous characters waking up in bed next to each other such as Hannibal Lecter, Michael Jackson, Captain Jack Sparrow, Rosie Senanayake, Miss Piggy, the Hulk), Etisalat: really, really fast (acting out Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and Cinderella, first in 30 seconds, then in 15 seconds and then in five seconds).
The judges were Thushara Hettihamu, Feroze Kamardeen and Steve de la Zilva. Ahindas won 131.25 for KG 116.05.
