Brass & Drums infusion with Balkanrazzia and Naadro

Last Sunday the gig goers in Colombo were treated to a Brass & Drums platter of tunes through an interesting collaboration of cultures and

countries: ‘Balkanrazzia’ comprising of a Nordic percussion and brass instrument ensemble and our very own dynamic percussionists ‘Naadroo’. A free event held at British School Auditorium, Colombo, saw a big audience on a Sunday. The audience was treated to a unique blend of ‘West meets East’ along with Balkanrazzia’s own flavour of oriental fusion. The outfits enthralled the crowd along with the signature acts and the infusion of Balkanrazzia and Naadroo, the entwinement of Nordic and South Asian beats, was simply mind-blowing.
