BreadTalk Sri Lanka, in collaboration with Elephant House, has introduced two new value meals, both of which include popular soft drink EGB, for the benefit of customers.
These delicious deals, Fire Curry with EGB, and Night Bites with EGB, provide tasty and filling meal options during both the day and night, so even the most value conscious of customers can enjoy the quality of BreadTalk delicacies.
Available everyday for lunch, the Fire Curry with EGB meal is an increasingly popular first-of-its-kind creation by the local BreadTalk team, made specially for people wanting a hearty, and Sri Lankan, rice and curry.
Attractively priced, the Fire Curry with EGB is served with a standard size fried chicken thigh, along with ample servings of the same four deliciously cooked vegetable curries everyday, namely potatoes, beans, brinjal and beetroot. Utilising steamed rice for a more healthy and nutritious meal, this option comes in a see-through pack so the freshness of the ingredients is always guaranteed. Night Bites with EGB, on the other hand, is an evening snack to be enjoyed amongst a group of friends. The meal comprises a combination of two popular BreadTalk favourites, namely the chicken floss and/or spicy potato buns, in addition to an EGB served cold, to best complement the meal’s taste. Both of these value meals are also availabe in vegetarian versions, which are egg-less as well, so as to cater to heightened customer demand.
“At BreadTalk, we are always looking to create treats that our discerning customers can relate to and love,” said BreadTalk Sri Lanka Managing Director Yatila Wijemanne. “So we are pleased to now provide these two packages for our customers, including our very first local delicacy, Fire Curry.”
He added; “BreadTalk is an international restaurant chain encompassing 600 restaurants across the region, satisfying hungry customers in search of delicious food items, yet we are also a growing chain, young at heart and keen to please. So with us opening our five outlets in the past 14 months, it is our great pleasure to now be able to serve these great meals to more Sri Lankans than ever before.”
“Great memories are made around the dinner table when there’s good food and good drinks,” said Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (Elephant House) Head of Beverages and John Keells Holdings PLC Vice President Chandima Perera. “Along with BreadTalk, we are pleased to be able to create an atmosphere for just that with the two package deals currently on offer. We understand that scores of customers have been asking for EGB to go with their BreadTalk favourites, so it brings us great pleasure to join hands with BreadTalk to offer these great deals to our loyal fans.”
