A chaotic situation is always round and about the fence. On 23, 24 and 25 September drown the Lionel Wendt theatre with much groan and laughter as Jith Peiris takes one of his productions to an essentially ‘British’ level.
‘… It’s Chaos At The Vicarage…’ (See How They Run) will be one of the first English Comedies staged after many years in Colombo.
Written in the comic-war era of the 1940s by Philip King, this play will witness the absolute chaos created by a British Corporal and a German Soldier as they disguise themselves as parsons amongst a vicarage of clergymen.
The play is directed by Trudy Herft and presented by the Creative Arts Foundation. The cast for the production will include Michelle Herft, Rehan Almeida, Dulika Jayamanne, Suranee Gomez, Carlene De Fry Deveraj, Kanishka Herat, Malik Hannan , Shehan Wijemanne and Gehan Cooray. Box plan at the Lionel Wendt Theatre.
