Chinaman by Shehan Karunatilaka has been listed as one of the best fiction reads for the summer by Sunday Times UK.
The story of a dissipated Sri Lankan sports writer that goes in search of the world’s greatest cricketer has been described as a “confident and poignant debut.” The list also features the latest books from recognised writers such as Edward St Aubyn (At Last), Daughters-In-Law by Joanna Trollope and Booker prize winner Graham Swift (Wish You Were Here) among many others.
The book has received many positive reviews both locally and internationally since its debut and was launched in India as a revised copy before taking on the UK market.
