Cinnamon Grand’s first-ever Christmas Cookery demonstration will be held on 13 December at the Atrium Lobby. Within the span of two hours (10.00 am to 12.00 pm), you will learn how to cook everything from canapés to desserts as the Cinnamon Grand Master Chefs detail a number of unique dishes according to their area of specialty.
Tickets are priced at Rs. 2000/- with refreshments provided. All this to help you make seasonal entertainment a hassle free experience with a touch of Grand style.
This program will focus exclusively on Christmas themed dishes, ideal for entertaining at home. The Cinnamon Grand Master Chefs conducting the demonstration include Italian Chef Paolo Collavini bringing a hint of Italian flavours to your Christmas event, Executive Chef Morugama with a selection of mouthwatering main dishes and Pastry Chef Niranjan highlighting some delectable desserts. Food and Beverage Director, Justin Dingle, will step into the mix as well with his vast Michelin-class culinary experience.
The award winning Master Chefs will unveil their culinary masterpieces and teach those who attend the program how to recreate these dishes in their own homes. Ideal for entertaining at home, the dishes include canapés, mains and desserts; a full spread for an unique Christmas dining experience.
Cold canapés will be demonstrated by Executive Sous Chef Chaminda Liyanage. Part of his duties at the Cinnamon Grand includes menu planning and overseeing the fine dining restaurants such as The London Grill and Sequel.
The Cinnamon Grand’s new Italian chef, Paolo Collavini, will show guests how to bring the flavours of Sicily to your Christmas party with a special Christmassy pasta demonstration. Chef Collavini is the new Italian Chef at Echo.
Executive Chef Ranjith Morugama will showcase a selection of mains guaranteed to please the palates of guests. Chef Morugama is the genius behind the Cinnamon Grand’s culinary achievements and brings his vast knowledge and experience to the table.
Pastry Chef Niranjan will teach attendees how to cook a range of delectable desserts. Chef Niranjan is responsible for the incredible range of desserts and pastries available at the Cinnamon Grand.
Dingle will whip up a few bottles of mulled wine. A seasoned world chef, Dingle started working with several Michelin restaurants in the UK before moving on to an Executive Chef position at the Grand Mirage Resort in Bali, Indonesia. For reservations please call 2497470 or 0773136778.
