Last Sunday evening, large crowds were seen at a Christmas carol singing on the beach of a Perth suburb. The evening ended with a fabulous fireworks display.
Shopping malls are full of goodies for Christmas. Decorations and lights are aplenty with Santa Claus being given a special enclosure to greet the kids. Groups of young men and women dressed up in costumes depicting characters in popular stories hover around during weekends when crowds flock to the shops to buy gifts.
Houses are lit up in the nights with coloured jets in numerous designs and shapes.
Media is full of special Christmas offers. Weekend papers carry supplements. One paper had a supplement on ‘Fit Festive Fare’ with recipes for ‘a Festive Nutrient Boost’.
