As March draws to a close, so does Cinnamon Grand’s Pie promotion. So if you fancy your pie, then its best you make a bee line to the Cheers Pub, before the end of the March and indulge the many diverse types of finely baked pies on offer.

Available daily in March, from 11.00 a.m. till midnight, the grand pie experience is something you will regret missing out on. Boggle the mind with what pie you’d prefer to have-or just try them all. With 18 different types to select from, all sweet and savoury options are sinfully tempting and fulfilling. Each home baked pie with fresh and succulent fillings, is served with varied accompaniments, tailored to suit the particular pie.

The unique sweet and savoury pie in one offers a truly distinct pie experience where the meaty delights of peppery turkey sequences into the sweet and delectable tangs of fresh berry and custard, in a torrent of flavours for the taste buds. The turkey pepper/mixed berry pie, served with baked potatoes, custard sauce and vanilla ice cream is a must try for the adventurous gourmand or a sincere pie lover.

Choose from a traditional steak and kidney pie served with big cut chips and steamed vegetables, a cottage pie with a side dish of mashed potatoes and buttered vegetables, a tender pork pie with a boiled egg and mixed salad on the side, a tantalising pork, bacon and sausage lattice pie with potato wedges or the popular favourite so far, the lamb and onion pie with peas and mashed potatoes.

If poultry be you filling of choice, then the chicken and giblet pie in pepper gravy served with a green pea mash or the creamy chicken and mushroom pie with potato wedges might be just hit the spot. For those who prefer seafood, the salmon, mussel and egg streusel pie with Belgium fries or the traditional fisherman’s pie with mashed potatoes will get you hooked.

And we didn’t commit the cardinal sin of forgetting the dessert pies! Sink your teeth into a crispy apple pie or lose your senses to a slice of key lime pie. Prepare to fall in love with the marble rum cream pie or give into the seduction of the chocolate and banana crumble.

Be warned, the scandalously sumptuous Banoffee pie, made with bananas, cream and chocolate toffee cream, will leave you wanting more. You’ve still got a bit of March remaining to keep calm and eat more pie. Call the management on 0112 497 361/2 or 0112 497 373 for reservations.
