The only indication that there may be something other than the usual chaos of busy Pettah, is the towering white pillars to the east of the city; this too, can easily go a miss with three wheelers and wooden pulleys lined up and men with three inch thick dog chains around their necks, bright orange and red haired leering ‘nangiii’ at you.
