Despite its central location, I must admit I have never actually visited the Gangaramaya Temple. On most occasions I would pass by and be craning my neck to catch a glimpse of the cute elephant that roams aimlessly in the backyard. Recently I finally ventured inside, and ahead of me lay a sensory feast!
