All natural Soursop Ice Cream from Elephant House

The famous Elephant House ice cream has always been conscious of the Sri Lankan preference in taste and flavour. Their ice creams are known for quality, range and innovation.

Adding to its portfolio of unique flavours, last week Elephant House launched its Anodha ice cream for the first time in Sri Lanka using natural Soursop.

The green, spiky, heart shaped exterior of the Soursop may not be appetizing, but once you feast your taste buds in the luscious creamy white flesh of the fruit there is no stopping.

Soursop is well known in Sri Lanka to be full of various types of nutrients beneficial to the human health and is known to contain large amounts of Vitamin C, B1 and B12. All these nutrients are all important to help support higher energy levels, emotional stability, mental clarity and more. The fruit is also rich in carbohydrates and is said to be a natural remedy for various types of diseases.

“Soursop Ice Cream is an extension to the natural based product portfolio which is unique to Elephant House and reaffirms our commitment to high quality product and brand innovation.” said Elephant House Head of Frozen Confectionery Neil Samarasinghe.

“We know for a fact that the new Soursop Ice Cream will be quickly accepted by the market as the best choice in terms of not only taste but also since it is the only natural based ice cream available.

Our research shows that the market has been awaiting an all natural ice cream that does not compromise taste.” he further stated.

Elephant House Soursop Ice Cream is available at all Keells Supermarkets. For years consumers have enjoyed the frozen favourites of Elephant House ice cream. Elephant House through its Soursop ice cream is said to captivate the taste, imagination and spirit that is distinctive to the Sri Lankan consumer.
