The Cultural Section of the Embassy of Iran has inaugurated the screening of Iranian films directed by world famous award winning Iranian directors in its Cultural Sections Auditorium at Colombo recently.
The first film show was inaugurated on 7 December. Picture shows leading actress Sriyani Amarasena and Manick Kurukulasooriya cutting the ribbon and opening the show. Dr. Nabi Mohammad Hasani Pour the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Cultural Counselor Mehdi. G. Rokni are also seen on the picture. The Iranian movies will be screen at the Iran Cultural Centre on first and last Wednesdays of every month at 5.30pm. This films shows are open to public, sub titled in English and Admission is free.
