It’ll be a huge night for Beyonce this coming Sunday as the Flawless singer has been confirmed to perform at the 2015 Grammys, but it might not be what you expect as the diva will be joining John Legend and Common on stage during their performance.
The 33-year-old, who has received a whopping six nominations, will be singing gospel classic Take My Hand, Precious Lord as an introduction to Legend and Common who will be entertaining the audience with a rendition of their Selma track Glory. Confirming Queen Bey’s last-minute appearance, Common told Rolling Stone in an interview: “We’re getting an introduction from the great Beyoncé. That’s a whole other level, to have her singing Precious Lord. I’m excited.”
He added: “It’s the Grammys stage, so we’re going to deliver some of the best performances we ever had. Expect the spirit of what the movie is about, the spirit of what the movement is about, and the spirit of what ‘Glory’ is about.” According to MTV News, rumours are swirling that Beyonce will be getting an introduction to the stage herself, from none other than her bestie Gwynth Paltrow. Sounds like a not-to-be-missed performance! |
