Harpo’s Pizza, now in its 8th year of operation, expanded recently with the launch of its first standalone Pizza & Pasta Parlour in Nugegoda, conveniently located on Stanley Tillekeratne Mawatha in the heart of Nugegoda town, offering dine in, take-away and delivery service for all to enjoy the sumptuous wood-fired, thin crust pizzas and homemade pastas it’s famous for.
“It has always been my plan to expand the Harpo’s Pizza & Pasta brand and Nugegoda town seemed an ideal location to start with the first such parlour. We have set our standard with the Italian pizzas and I wanted to introduce a home- grown pizza range along with a fresh pasta selection. This is the first in a few more I plan to open in the near future,” said MD Harpo Gooneratne.
The experienced team is headed by Chef Rasika Perera bringing in over 20 years of exposure at recognised Italian restaurants, in Singapore;
Alex van Cuylenburg as Director Operations and Arshad Ibrahim as Assistant Manager. Both have extensive experience in restaurant management, internationally and locally.
With its own brick wood-fired oven, the concept revolves around serving homemade, home-grown products with the pizza and pasta range, using fresh and healthier ingredients. There are 26 delicious flavours in three sizes which includes Colombo’s largest pizza with 16 sumptuous slices.
The Pizza Parlour has dine-in facilities for 20 pax and also offers take away and delivery services. The delivery zone covers Kotte, Navinna, Boralesgamuwa and Mt Lavinia.
Enjoy the pizza, pasta, music and people with Harpo’s Pizza & Pasta. Contact 4323023 for reservations for dine in or 4869000 for delivery. Web: www.harpospizzas.com.
