Jetwing Lighthouse, immortalised as a monument to the grandeur and majesty of the South of Sri Lanka, will be the venue for an iconic concert today (9 November). Featuring world class musicians such as James Ross, Sophia Rahman, Robert Plane and Ashan Pillai, the concert is a must-see for ardent and die-hard classical music fans.
Taking place at the majestic Cinnamon Room, the four musicians will be accompanied by students of Purcell and Chetham School’s of Music, and the London Royal Academy of Music. Priced at Rs. 2,000, the performance will feature iconic classical music by masters such as Bach, Mozart, Fauré and others.
“Jetwing Lighthouse has been the venue of choice for internationally renowned musicians, from Danielle de Niese to Andrew de Silva. Having this concert, with such gifted and talented performers is a continuation of that commitment, and we look forward to a lovely evening indeed,” said Robert Claesson, General Manager of Jetwing Lighthouse.
