The catering offers boast the best of cuisines, prepared by Cinnamon Grand’s very own specialised Chef who has worked in the Middle East for thirteen years, with experience in the personal kitchens of the Prime Minister of Bahrain and the Head of the State Umm al Quwan in Dubai, where he was party to the chefs that catered when entertaining royalty. Therefore, you can be guaranteed of absolute authenticity in the fare offered.
The buffets include an array of starters, hot and cold mezze, salads, soups, mains, desserts and action stations. The sit down options, served with silver service by the Grand’s courteous catering staff will lay out hot and cold mezze on the table while serving up the plated soups, main courses and desserts, which can be served on the table, in a counter, or in a trolley, depending on the requirements of the event.
With four menus available, all serve water, seasonal fresh juices and dates for a traditional breaking of fast. Soups offered include vermicelli chicken soup with lemon wedges, Moroccan harira and vegetable soup, to name a few, while starters include hummus, fattoush, mutabal and much more.
The mains on offer consist typical Arabic dishes such as chicken tajine, couscous and vegetables, murg and mutton biryani, dawood pasha, minced lamb, hamour fillet with coriander sauce and Arabic mixed grill, to name a few. Action counters for buffet options include Arabic bread, shawarma and ouzi stations. A variety of desserts such as date or fresh fruit cheese cake, ginger and lemongrass crème brulee and umm ali to name a few, will add sweetness and colour to your celebratory occasion.

On till 9 August, from sundown till 11 p.m. daily, enjoy a lavish buffet with dates, a choice of two soups, a selection of hot and cold mezze, eight main dishes, five action corners including chicken shawarma, carvery (oven roasted leg of lamb marinated with Arabic spices), roti station (Arabic bread, rumali roti, beef stuffed roti and lamb arrays) and hot snacks (mutton patties, vegetable samosas) desserts, as well as a juice bar, faluda, tea and coffee.
The buffet is priced at Rs. 2,000 (plus taxes) with the added option of Shisha for Rs. 3,000 (plus taxes) at the Courtyard’s breezy terrace, with 15 flavours of Shisha including chocolate, mint, cherry, strawberry and double apple.
