Ifthar platter at Spices during Ramadan month

During this month of Ramadan, Hilton Colombo will be serving a special Ifthar platter from 6:30 p.m. onwards at Spices and Curry Leaf for those of you who want to break fast. The Ifthar platter consists of the traditional dates, cut fruits, cungee, fresh salad, fruit mocktail and savoury snacks. All guests for the buffet will receive a complimentary platter. Curry Leaf is known for their best in seafood, prepared a-la-minute to the guests preferred choice along with a wide selection of Sri Lankan curries. The extensive buffet at Spices features international cuisine providing the discerning diner a variety to choose from. The restaurants will be open at 6:30 p.m. during the season of Ramadan. “Iftar” refers to the evening meal, when Muslims around the world break their fast during the month of Ramadan. Iftar is one of the religious observances of Ramadan and is often done as a community. Homes of Muslims prepare snacks such as samosas, cutlets, rolls and much more. After the sun sets, the fast is broken with a meal known as “Ifthar”.
