Joint exhibition on 23 January
The India-Sri Lanka Foundation, in collaboration with Taj Samudra Hotel, Colombo and SEHER, New Delhi will be holding an India Sri Lanka Artist’s Week from 18 to 23 January at the Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo.
The art camp will consist of renowned painters from India and Sri Lanka with varied inspirations, styles, techniques and schools of thought, working together in unison.
An exhibition of the joint works done during the week would be unveiled by Y.K. Sinha, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka on 23 January at 7:30 p.m. at the Crystal Room, Taj Samudra, Colombo. This exhibition will mark the conclusion of the Art Camp. The India-Sri Lanka Foundation was established by a Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of India and Sri Lanka in 1998 in order to foster India-Sri Lanka relations through the enhancement of economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation and to promote greater understanding between the people of the two countries.
