The entertainment complex is once again geared up to open its annual “Snow World” at the dome. It will be held daily from the 3 December until the 2 January, from 6.30 pm onwards.

The first of its kind in Sri Lanka and this part of Asia, the stimulated snow is produced using snow machines, and promises a unique experience altogether. The “Snow World” provides families with a mini-holiday, serving as a festive oasis in the midst of tropical weather. Despite the freak torrential rains, the management expects this year’s crowd to top last year’s 150,000 person strong intake.

With special discounts and group packages, the experience is affordable and value for money and a great way for individuals for all ages, families, school children and company staff to relax and unwind. The price per adult is Rs. 350 and Rs. 300 per child, for a full 45 minute show. Further price sets are available at special rates for large groups or those on company/ school trips.

As the pioneers in Sri Lanka’s entertainment business for the past seven years, Excel World has perfected their snow dome area. The amusement park promises its customers a complete entertainment package, including continuous live music and competitions, and a spectacular lighting system.

The management also assures ample parking for over 250 cars, and plenty of varied entertainment and leisure options before and after show timings. The Excel World complex has been reinvented to include Adventura, a kid’s amusement area with seven new rides imported from Italy, as well as old favorites such as the token gaming area, bowling alleys, multiplayer cyber gaming zone, and the country’s largest inflatable bouncing castles.

A large array of eatery options are available, from the Food Court to the relaxing Café Latte, as well as the Keg Pub & Restaurant which offers a family-friendly environment without smoke, alongside live bands to enhance the dining experience.
