Marvellous Mexican Fiesta at Cinnamon Lakeside’s The Dining Room

The Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo launched its Mexican cuisine promotion last night, serving up an impressive spread of flavourful and colourful Mexican dishes at the hotel’s elegant restaurant, The Dining Room. The hotel hosted media personnel to dinner on the opening night, with General Manager Denis Gruhier, Director – Sales and Marketing Adrian Jansz, Marketing and Communications Manager Anusha Malwatta, Marketing and Communications Executive Anuradha Illeperumaarachchi and Marketing and PR Coordinator Deepika Perera at hand to warmly welcome the guests. The Dining Room regularly takes diners on a worldwide culinary journey with its themed dinner buffets and the ongoing Mexican promotion is no exception to the rule, featuring a host of impressive dishes.

Specially prepared by the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s specialty chef Anil Rodrigo and Mexican cuisine specialty chef Rodrigo Benedicto Borges, the buffet features popular dishes like burritos, sopa seca (Mexican Rice), tortillas and nachos, amongst a host of others. The entire spread, comprising starters, salads, mains and desserts, is diverse and delicious, offering up something for everyone. The exotic Mexican Fiesta will continue until 24 October and is priced at Rs. 2,555 per person, giving diners the chance to savour exquisite Mexican dishes in the comfort of Colombo’s most cosmopolitan restaurant.
