  •  The shining star of the Miss. France pre-pageant tour to Sri Lanka well on her way to win the Miss France 2014 crown
Aurianne Sinacola, Miss. Cote d’Azur and one of the 33 finalists of the Miss France 2014 pageant, was selected as ‘Miss Cinnamon Hospitality’ at the recently concluded Miss France pre-pageant Gala Event held at Cinnamon Bey, Beruwela. The selection was made by the Cinnamon team who accompanied the 33 contestants on their pre-pageant tour of Sri Lanka. The team had been keeping their eyes out for the one who they consider to be worthy of being called “Miss Hospitality”. The criteria was not too complicated, of course, beauty had much to do with it, although they very soon realised that a selection based on that alone was a hard task, and so, instead kept their eyes open for who they considered to be the “most hospitable” - beautiful, friendly, approachable, fun-loving, lively and outgoing. “Some are more in the spotlight than others,” explained Cinnamon Resorts Sector Head and John Keells Group Executive Vice President Sunimal Senanayake. “Since her arrival in Sri Lanka she has been the centre of attention, be it with the media, our hotel staff or even observers. It was therefore, easy for us to identify her as the winner and we strongly believe that her charisma and excess of confidence is sure to put her amongst the top finalists even at the Miss France 2014 pageant.” Quoted as a “Sparkling Personality” by the reigning Miss   France and Runner-Up of Miss World 2013, Marine Lorpheline, Aurianne is 1metre 71centimetres tall and 19 years of age, with an ambition to become an airhostess. Admitting that her personality is something people like about her, she also says that “my focus is on the crown.” Should she be crowned as Miss France 2014, Aurianne will be the fourth contestant from the region to win the pageant since the year 1982. However, during her stay in Sri Lanka, she said, “I want to release the pressure and enjoy to the fullest with my 32 fellow contestants. Visiting Sri Lanka has been a dream come true.”
