The iconic Mount Lavinia Hotel celebrated ‘the beach is back’ on Tuesday with ‘Seafood Inferno,’ featuring the tallest flame and largest flambé on Paradise Beach. The flames of the ‘Seafood Inferno,’ which featured a massive wok filled with many kinds of fresh seafood, rose some 15 feet in the air, and the end result courtesy the skilled chefs was an absolutely delicious dinner, which guests tucked into with relish. Coupled with wine and calypso music, which set the mood at Seafood Cove, enhanced by the starry skies, the cooling sea breeze and the golden sands of Paradise Beach, it was a night to remember as MLH celebrated its Paradise Beach. Welcoming guests to tuck into the succulent spread, Mount Lavinia Hotel Group General Manager Bazeer Cassim assured ‘Seafood Inferno’ would be a frequent occurrence at the hotel, coupled with dining on the beach, bonfires and entertainment to add to the experience.
