At French Touch fashion show
The reigning Miss France and first runner-up at Miss World 2013, Marie Lorphelin along with 33 Ms. France contestants unveiled the latest collection of leading high-street brand Avirate at a glitzy fashion show held at Cinnamon Bey, Beruwela on 21 November. The event was the culmination of the Ms. France for Ms. World 2014 mini pageant tour in partnership with Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts and SriLankan Airlines.
The evening was slated as a gala affair choreographed by the talented Dinesh Chandrasena, featuring 66 new pieces that are a part of the Christmas and New Year collection under the Aviraté brand. The Aviraté collection showcased a stunning ensemble of designer evening wear as well as leisure wear that thrilled audiences and Aviraté customers.
Speaking about the new collection, an Aviraté design team member said, “We have been inspired by the beauty of France and the cultural nuances of the Sri Lankan woman in this collection. From the colour to the cut, the designs are ‘magnifique’ and is a must have for any fashion conscious woman.”
Glamorous, elegant and geared for festive season
“Our new collection is glamorous, elegant and geared for the upcoming festive season. And we are excited that the beautiful Ms. France contestants will be unveiling this in Sri Lanka,” said Aviraté Sri Lanka CEO Younoos. “Consisting of both leisure wear and a large selection of evening and cocktail wear, we’re confident that this will add a special look and be a definite head-turner for our loyal customers.”
Meanwhile, 20 lucky Aviraté customers selected via a month-long raffle draw were selected on the 14th of this month.
Marie Lorphelin, reigning Ms. France and runner up Ms. World also visited the Aviraté flagship store on 19 November.
The new collection will be available at the Aviraté flagship store and all other outlets around the island from 23 November 2013 onwards.
