Photo Technica marks 55th anniversary

Photo Technica celebrated its 55th anniversary recently. Started on 4 February 1958, the Independence Day of Sri Lanka, by renowned photographer Fred Malwanna, the company completed 55 years on 4 February this year.

Speaking on the occasion of the anniversary celebrations, Photo Technica Managing Director Harsha Malwanna said: “Maintaining a business enterprise for a period exceeding half a century successfully facing economic and technical challenges generated over the passing of time is a great triumph. There are several reasons for our victorious journey.

The major reason is the strong foundation put in place by my father Fred Malwanna at the inception of Photo Technica. “The other key reason is the customer-centric dedication of our staff and the trust and the continuing confidence our customers have on us. The face that Photo Technica is catering to all aspects of photography all under one roof thereby catering to enhanced customer convenience is another reason for our success.” Photo Technica is offering several special privileges to its customers in view of its 55th anniversary.

Some of the privileges offered are special discounts on purchases of digital cameras and accessories, providing them in special packages, and servicing of cameras accepted for repairs free of charge.

Photo Technica is the official agent in Sri Lanka for world-renowned Nikon cameras and accessories. Nikon cameras and accessories could be purchased from Photo Technica with guarantees and after sales services.  Some of the services offered by Photo Technica are digital photo printing, renovating old photographs, instant photos for passports and visa purposes, laminating and framing photographs and preparing instant office IDs.
