Photo Technica marks 55th anniversary

Photo Technica celebrated its 55th anniversary recently. Started on 4 February 1958, the Independence Day of Sri Lanka, by renowned photographer Fred Malwanna, the company completed 55 years on 4 February this year.

Speaking on the occasion of the anniversary celebrations, Photo Technica Managing Director Harsha Malwanna said: “Maintaining a business enterprise for a period exceeding half a century successfully facing economic and technical challenges generated over the passing of time is a great triumph. There are several reasons for our victorious journey.

The major reason is the strong foundation put in place by my father Fred Malwanna at the inception of Photo Technica. “The other key reason is the customer-centric dedication of our staff and the trust and the continuing confidence our customers have on us.
