Rukshan Perera to launch first live DVD of English originals

Accomplished guitarist and vocalist Rukshan Perera will launch his Live in Concert DVD at the Part Street Mews today at 10 a.m. The first live DVD of English originals in Sri Lanka, it is being released in aid of the Unity Mission Trust, a non-profit organisation committed to fostering unity, reconciliation and healing amongst children in Sri Lanka.

Having formed a band at the age of 10, arranged complex arrangements with multiple harmony by 11 and touring Asia and Europe from the age of 16 with bands like Super Golden Chimes, Esquire Set and Serendib, Rukshan’s  launch here in Sri Lanka follows his 30-year stint in the USA.
