The Salon Nayana staff performed well at the 15th National Awards 2012 conducted by the Sri Lanka Association of Hairdressers and Beauticians (SLAHAB), winning many trophies and prizes.
22-year-old, Shakeer Mirza from the Bambalapitiya branch of Salon Nayana performed the best and won all the events he participated in. He also won the Wella Colour Trophy in both the Ladies and Gents categories. The team was trained by Nayana and Kanjana.
