Shades of Sri Lanka

Art is the painting of the freedom of expression. Colour is what gives voice to such an expression. The students of Latifa Ismail are having their third exhibition to assist the Prithipura Infant Home.

The artists displaying their paintings at the exhibition are Zeyana Haniffa, Zainab Irfan, Anoma Fernando, Ayub Carder, Hafsah Cader, Kamalini, Asma Shafeek, Aloka Chandrasena, Salaf Tegal, Namal Silva, Ravish Fernando and Mumina Irfan.  Nearly 300 paintings using all media will be displayed from 6 May, 5pm onwards and on 7 -8 May from 10am to 8pm at the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery.
