Sri Lankan chefs in Bocuse d’Or finals

The famous international cooking competition ‘Bocuse d’Or‘ is held every two years in Lyon, with Villeroy & Boch as an official partner of the haute cuisine cooking event. After some 60 national and three continental selection rounds in Asia, Latin America and Europe, 24 of the most promising chefs will gather in Lyon for an exceptional finale.

Finalist candidate for Lyon Chef Buddhika Samarasekera, who is a Chef at the Spoons Restaurant at Hilton Colombo, will be assisted by Chef Apprentice Rashen John, also of Hilton Colombo, at the finals in Lyon, France.

Bary Jaleel, Managing Director Abdul Rahims, the distributor for Villeroy and Boch tableware in Sri Lanka, wishes the team the very best for the event. Chef Rohan Fernandopulle, President Bocuse d’Or Sri Lanka and Executive Chef at the Hilton Colombo, will accompany Chef Buddhika to Lyon, France as well.
