StageYou.TV launches ‘The Theatre Fiesta’

Entries are now open for the first-ever contest on StageYou.TV – ‘The Theatre Fiesta’ on http://stageyou.tv/theaterfiesta/. The panel of judges will feature personalities in the field of theatre as online judges and will include Dr. Sean Matthews, Director of Studies, School of Modern Languages and Cultures, University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus, Jehan Bastians – Founder, Silent Hand Productions and Jehan Aloysius – Founder/Artistic Director of CentreStage Productions.

The other judges are Jake Oorloff – Co-Founder, Floating Space Theatre Company, Ruhanie Perera – Co-Founder, Floating Space Theatre Company, Shanuki De Alwis – Artistic Director, The Workshop Players, Ruvin de Silva – Associate Artistic Director, Mind Adventures Theater Company and Indu Dharmasena.

The Judge Award and Public Award of Theatre Fiesta on StageYou is a tour to University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus, where you can experience a day in life of School of Modern Languages and Cultures, meet eminent faculty, mingle with students of art and culture and participate in the Summer Academy absolutely free of charge.

How to be a part of the Theatre Fiesta on StageYou.TV  

Select any script of an English play you are familiar with

Take a video camera and film just three minutes of your monologue. You can upload more than one video clip of three minutes each.  

Though this specific contest is for theatre, if you are good at singing, dancing, playing an instrument you can still create three minutes videos of your performances and can be featured them in other categories.
