In celebration and support of Sri Lankan art and artists the seventh season of Leo Art titled ‘Strokes at the Mews’ was recently held at the Park Street Mews.
From the moment Leo Burnett opened his doors on 5 August 1935, he set out a bowl of apples at the reception. This marked the beginning of Leo Burnett spirit of giving. 81 years later, the local office continued with the same spirit, and designated Leo Burnett’s Anniversary as the day to Give Back.
Leo Burnett Sri Lanka marked this important milestone with the latest edition of Leo Art, titled ‘Strokes at the Mews’. Leo Art endeavours to recognise Sri Lankan artists by providing them with the opportunity to reach for the stars. This year, the program showcased over 70 breathtaking works of art at a concessionary rate throughout the duration of the exhibition.
The seventh edition of Leo Art featured the following leading artists: JC Rathnayake, Sanjeewa Kumara, Sanjaya Senavirathna, Susil Senanayake, Vajira Gunawardena, Prageeth Rathnayake, Dileepa Jeewantha, Anura Dahanayake, Vikum Bandara, Lasantha Kumara, Vimukthi Sahan, Sameera Buddhika, Chiranthi Gunasekara, Renuka Dias, Chamila Gamage, Dep Thushara and Piyal Ranjan.
