Cricket fever has reached an acute stage in Sri Lanka. Tickets have been bought, TV time slotted in, flags prepared and papre bands hired to cheer on the team at the World Cup. As Sri Lanka gets the much-awaited chance to host the most important sporting event dear to every citizen’s heart it is little wonder that the entire country has joined in with gusto.
