The Revelations a globally acclaimed group of singers have hit the headlines with their special talent, reaching the hearts and minds of audiences with their unique performances and achievements not only in Sri Lanka but in the many countries where they have performed.
This highly talented, dynamic group of singers helped to raise the bar in the realm of choral music in Sri Lanka to reach a new standard of excellence and over the past 19 years have dedicated themselves to enthralling their audiences with their very own unique style of presentation and harmony incorporating the best in Acappella singing, which incidentally is their forte.
Risen to great heights
From their early days way back in 1994, they have risen to great heights culminating in their awesome achievement in the Austrian town of Graz in 2008 at the world choir games where they won the title ‘World Champion’ not once but twice, together with two Gold Medals and a Silver Medal.
The show will feature a wide range of the more popular, sacred and secular seasonal favourites showcasing their intricate, rich and vibrant harmonies and incomparable skills in Acappella singing together with some songs with accompaniment to bring the majesty of some Christmas compositions, which has earned them international acclaim.
The accompanists will be Roshanka Peiris on the key board and Dharshi Edward-Clavinova and Christo Prins on the drums. They will be joined by The Revelations team: Choral Director/Leader – Sanjeev Jayaratnam, Manager – Priyan R. de Livera and The Members – Enaksha Fernando, Michael Quyn, Gyles Dharmaratne, Hiran Seram, Ashan Algama, Willie Godridge, Sanoj de Mel and Ravi Perera.
