The Thomian Society has adorned itself with another feather in its cap. Their annual fund raiser has turned out to be an outright success. Tickets for the dinner theatre at 7:30 p.m. this weekend at Waters Edge sold out, as anticipated, like hot cakes.
There was an incredible rush on for tickets which entertainment lovers knew would open the doors to an unprecedented evening of sheer relaxation, laughter and refreshment, when the spotlight is turned on ArsIdle Chaminda Pusswedilla for Feroze Kamardeen’s exclusive one-off stage production ‘Pusswedilla ARS ROKS’.
A sit-down dinner, designed to be a gourmet’s delight not without liquid delight for gentlemen and exquisite snacks for ladies and a political satire which is topical and much in demand, were put together to give those who bought their tickets on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis with what they did not want to miss in the Thomian Society style.
With the emergence of a ‘full house’, telephone calls are still coming in for any possibilities of tickets being provided. So now, it is all systems go for ‘Pusswedilla ARS ROKS’ this Sunday. As an arts lover, who is also a fun lover, put it: “It’s not always that good things come by, but then, here comes the best!”
