Due to popularity of The Wok Promotion among many diners at Taj Samudra Colombo, the hotel has made such signature dishes available this July to cater to the demand. These creatively exclusive, preparations are being served at The Golden Dragon from the 12 to 21 July 2013. The Golden Dragon Restaurant carries diners’ taste buds through a gastronomical journey of authentic Chinese Cuisine and unravels the finest flavors of Chinese food this month. Amongst the delicious dishes available, the deep fried sea food in a rich and spicy Szechwan sauce is a must try. The braised lobster with chili and brandy is a famous rock lobster cooked in chili flavoured sauce with and flamed with brandy. One should not miss out on two preparations that are must haves: the sautéed crab in Szechwan pepper sauce which is made with Sri Lankan lagoon crab cooked in Szechwan chili and the wok fried lamb and peppers with chili black bean sauce has always been the most popular preference, carefully prepared with the choicest of ingredients for the sauce.
