Traditional Christmas cake mixing at Taj Samudra

To usher in the oncoming season, Taj Samudra hosted the traditional Christmas cake mixing on 30 October at the Longdon Room followed by cocktails at the Gregory Room. The very creative chef Krawage and his kitchen brigade had arranged the ingredients in a design that instantaneously caught the eye of all present.

The activities began with all the invitees and the hotel team donning aprons gloves and Santa hats, distributed by Area Director Sri Lanka and General Manager Taj Samudra Rohit Khosla accompanied by his wife the elegant Maya Khosla, as would befit the occasion. The vital ingredient was

passed around for the mixing by a team of smartly attired chefs standing around the merry gathering, already enjoying the music from the very talented duo Yohana and Onelli. All present then got into an animated session of mixing the ingredients amongst laughter and mirth making the event a righteous welcome to the oncoming season of cheer. This was then followed by some wine, scrumptious canapés and a bubbling fountain of chocolate.
