Take a cue from celebs and fashion types who know that the right pair of sunglasses can add instant mystique, chic and polish to any look but also know that sunglasses are more than just a fashion statement: they are a necessity to protect your eyes from harmful UV rays. So, go for Vision Care sunglasses that block 100 per cent of harmful UV rays.
Since its inception, Vision Care Opticals has been known for launching many firsts to the optical services industry in Sri Lanka and promotes its unique services through unusual promotions shaped as raffle draws.
“The Vision Care sunglass mega raffle draw saw us promoting a new branded pair of sunglasses at a discount of 25 per cent through our 18 branch network in Kurunegala, Ja-Ela, Galle, Jaffna, Nuwara Eliya, Moratuwa, Grandpass, Crescat and Colombo 7,” said Vision Care Optical Services Chairman Dasantha R. Fonseka.
The mega raffle draw paved the way for sunglasses to be introduced to a market weary of using low quality cheap varieties proliferated in every nook and cranny in the country.
The sunglasses at the raffle draw promotion had heavy discounts going up to as much as 25 per cent. The weekly raffle had three categories: below Rs. 5,000, between Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 10,000 and above Rs. 10, 000. The weekly raffle draw also had attractive prizes – Vision Care branded USP wrist bands and valuable gift vouchers.
The final draw will have the three winners envied by others. The first prize is a return air ticket to Singapore, the second prize is a weekend package for a couple at Birds Park Hotel in Wadakada, Polgahawela and the third prize is a dinner for a lucky couple at a five star hotel.
The winners will receive their prizes at a star-studded event at Vision Care’s corporate office at Ward Place, Colombo 7.
