An exhibition titled ‘Women and Space’ by Sanjeewani Hewawitharana is on at the Alliance Francaise de Kotte in Colombo from 9 to 19 March, as part of the International Women’s Day celebration. “It’s a blend of women figures on Sri Lankan traditional patterns to be seen mostly on temple decorative paintings’ designs,” says Sanjeewani about ‘Women and Space,’ which is her second solo exhibition in Sri Lanka
