Yashan releases ‘Hallelujah’

Yashan has recorded “a song for Jesus” this Christmas, titled ‘Hallelujah’. “This season is not to celebrate and party all day all night. It’s the best time to be thankful for the life you have and stop looking at what you don’t have, start being thankful for what you got – and this is how I do it,” he said. The audio was released on Yes FM and is getting frequent airplay on Red FM as well, which Kiss FM has also agreed to play it. It features Senela Jay on vocals. Senela is an emerging artiste for soul, jazz and gospel music. She is also a pianist and a songwriter. Music was done by the hottest new addition to the Sri Lankan music composing industry, Chamath Sangeeth, who is still in his early ’20s.
