96th death anniversary of late F.R.Senanayake commemorated

The 96th death anniversary of the late F.R.Senanayake, a national hero who had been in the vanguard of the freedom struggle, was commemorated last Saturday (1st). United National Party ( UNP) Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene garlands F.R. Senanayake statue in Vihara Maha Devi Park on Saturday.

The UNP Deputy Leader is the great grandson of F.R. Senanayake.
