Abandoned baby elephant under treatment at Giritale Wildlife Veterinary

A seven-day-old baby elephant that was lost from the herd and abandoned at a wildlife sanctuary in the Kalingawila area in Welikanda, Polonnaruwa was brought by the Welikanda Wildlife Office yesterday and handed over to the Giritale Wildlife Veterinary Office for treatment.
