Sri Lanka's World Cup winning cricket captain Arjuna Ranatunga has been appointed as the Chairman of the National Sports Council.
Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe has appointed Ranatunga to the new post which comprises of 15-members in the National Sports Council.
