COVID 19 vaccination of 250,000 frontline workers

Vaccination of 250,000 frontline workers commenced today at six hospitals, with the reception of the first batch of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine 29. 01. 2021

Health workers at the Base Hospitals, which are dedicated for COVID-19 treatment, were among the recipients of the 500,000 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine the country received 29. 01. 2021 as a donation from the Government of India. Staff of five other hospitals also received the vaccine today and 250,000 frontline workers are set to be vaccinated in the coming days.
