Cabinet approves salt imports to address possible 2025 shortage

The Cabinet has approved the import of 30,000 tons of raw non-iodised salt to mitigate a potential shortage in early 2025. Imports, facilitated through the State Trading Corporation, must be completed by 31 January 2025.
