SLPP MP Dhammika Perera told journalists that he had submitted his asset declaration and tax clearance certificate prior to accepting the appointment.
"I’m confident about attracting investors even during a challenging period like this and I also plan to provide employment opportunities for the youth. I don’t think this is a sinking ship but a ship that rocks rapidly. Nobody gets into a sinking ship," Perera told journalists.
